Made my second stop at Nate Hamilton’s shop and as you can see, the engine made it in and was being worked on during my visit. Nate is using a LS7/LS3 built by LG Motorsport – a bigger motor than what he ran last year. It’s basically a LS7 head with a LS3 block. LG Motorsport will tune the car as well. This year, Nate picked up Holley as a sponsor so will be using Holley throttle body, fuel rails, etc. More photos after the jump.
90mm Holley throttle body.
Aeromotive bypass regulator.
Moroso Breather Tank. Hoonigan Racing will design Nate’s livery for his S13 – He gave me a sneak peak of the wrap and it looks amazing! Wish I could show you guys but I’ve been sworn to secrecy.
The inside chassis has come a long way from our last visit – seats are in, EFI, oil setup, Stack Dash Display System, among other things.
A closer look at Nate’s oil set up. This area will be covered during competition. Nate will also run a 4 speed G-Force GSR transmission.
Sparco Evo GripTech Race Seats with Takata belts. Can’t for get to mention Adam Green’s custom Purple ONE44 Motorsports Hydrolic ebrake / handbrake – thing is so clean! Would be nice to see these for sale at some point.
Wilwood ajustable pedals.
Next on the list is everyones favorite task… wiring.
Look at all those battle scars on those Enkei RPF1’s! We’ll be back with another segment soon – maybe with some Dyno shots and video. Make sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for more behinds the scenes of Nate Hamilton‘s Formula Drift S13. – Alex
