Janet's Pristine Toyota AE86 at Formula Drift Long Beach

A big thank you to Janet for letting us borrow her AE86 for the weekend. The people loved it and were amazed at how clean this Hachi Roku is. Definitely one of the top 3 cars at the event! Events: Lone Star Drift Round 1

The Lone Star Drift 2013 season got on it's way in Houston, Texas at Greyhound Park a couple of weeks ago. Lone Star Drift is a grassroots drift event where drivers compete to earn a Formula Drift license but it's also a great place to learn about drifting and just have a great time. This was our second consecutive year attending the event and we notice a substantial growth in attendance. It makes us happy to see such a great grassroots turn out. Tony Angelo just sent these photos over of his in progress Formula Drift Scion FRS. I've seen rendering of the final look so cant wait to see it finished and ripping at Long Beach next month! Hachi-Roku / AE86 LOVE, Hawaii

If you follow us on Facebook, you know we always show love to the Hachi-Roku (Japanese for Eight-Six). Dave, in Hawaii, had a chance to stop by this Classic Toyota meet and was able to snap several AE86's. I love these cars so much, I'm always wearing my Hachi-Roku crewneck - even though I don't even own an AE86! Don't judge me. More photos after the jump.
