Nissan Heritage Museum – Japan

Had the awesome opportunity to visit the Nissan Heritage Museum while in Japan. A great treat before out heading to Tokyo Auto Salon. Took a bunch of photos for you but was just about dead (sick) so did not pay much attention to the history behind each car. Anyway, I will add as many captions as I can remember… hope you enjoy. Also, make sure to follow us on Instagram and Facebook for more automotive photos! This little race car was in the entrance of the museum. It’s a 1982 March K10. Another view – Let’s Matchy! I’m always fascinated...

S15 At Mobara Circuit Japan

As the bus was approaching Mubara Twin Circuit in Chiba Japan, we passed by a gasoline station where this and another 240 (an S13 I believe) were pulling out. Was kind of upset the windows were fogged up from the 1.5-hour ride from Tokyo so was only able to take a crappy pic with my phone. Luckily it was one of the first cars I spotted when we pulled up to the track. Little did we know it had an RB26 in it. The car looked amazing and sounded amazing as well when it was on the track. Inside Up Garage in Japan

According to the owner, they have over 200 locations in Japan. This took place the day before our Tokyo Auto Salon visit. Here are a bunch of photos I took – these are a mixture of photos from two locations. I’m kind of accustomed...

With Drifting originating in the streets of Japan, we wanted to make a t-shirt showing tribute and respect for the origins of the Japanese motorsport. Click more to see a couple of other pics or head to our store to snag one. The sleeve displays a clean bright red and white WhatMonstersDo logo. Black, White, and Red are the official WMD colors! You'll notice some changes to the site in the coming weeks. A closer look at the front graphic. The...

Tomei's Datsun Sunny A12

Tomei Datsun Sunny A12

This year, we tagged along with the DSPORT Magazine crew as we made our way to Tokyo Auto Salon.  One of the stops during their tour was at Tomei in Yokohama where they manufacture race parts including crankshafts, pistons, and much more. This little beauty was sitting in the back so I grabbed a couple of shots while I could. The guys at Tomei started it up and it sounded pretty damn awesome. Enjoy the photos!
